Hi FJ friends!
Ulli here with you today and I am so happy you are here for my pocket page inspiration with mixed kits. I am working at my pocket page album of last year and I always document only the big and important moments and things there. Our little son has learned to ride the bicycle alone and I had to document this milestone in his life. Here is the complete double page.
When I saw the wonderful Julia 6x6 paper pad I fell in love with the floral paper. I had the idea to frame a big picture with this paper and so I fussy cut the inner part of the florals and backed it with a big picture. The yellow bike looks amazing with the yellow color in the Julia papers. I decided to put this one in a big 6x8 pocket page and so I cut some Essentials White Cardstock to 6x8 inches. Then I added the 6x6 paper with the photo on the top. I typed my journaling and printed it out. Then I glued it under my picture and cut the overlapping parts with my scissors.
For the left page I wanted to use two smaller pictures and I cut them to 3x4 inches. Then I searched in all my wonderful FJ kits for the matching journaling cards and found the journaling cards from the wonderful Shay collection. I wanted to have them in black and white because my pictures have bright colors. I put the pictures and the "Believe in yourself" and the "You’ve got this!" cards into a pocket page with four 3x4 inch pockets. These quotes are just perfect for this milestone and the pictures.
I found the super cute Denise Chipboard Speech Bubbles and I knew they were the perfect fit to add some eye catchers on my double page. I glued the yellow one with the heart under my big picture and added the blush one with a strong double sided glue tape on the top of the pocket page and in the middle of the four cards. I added the word "YAY" with the cute black Amanda Puffy Alphabet on the speech bubble.
I began to decorate my pages and I used the tiny black heart from the Amanda Puffy Alphabet to decorate the journaling card on the right side on the top. For the card on the bottom I’ve used two of the super cute Grace Chipboard Bits and added the circle with the heart at the line between the black and white part of this card. I added the "Happiness" word chipboard bit under the other one. On the left picture I added the cute floral Julia tab on the right side of my picture. And on the other picture I glued the yellow photo corner from the Julia Die Cut Shapes on the left edge above and two of the super cute leaves from the Taylor Epoxy Stickers on the lower part. The pictures are from autumn 2020 and so the leaf epoxy stickers are just perfect.
Then I began to embellish the right pocket page. I’ve used the pretty orange "Smile" Chipboard Button from the Julia collection and the blush die cut "This Moment" also from the Julia collection and added them on the border of the floral frame. I also added the blue label from the Grace Die Cut Shapes there and added it with the "Remember" word from the Hope Die Cut Shapes. At the end I finished off this page with many of the pretty Julia Epoxy Dots in blush, yellow and orange and one blue little star die cut from the Grace collection. I love this blue color and it fits perfect to the pictures, too.
I hope you like my pocket pages with all the different Felicity Jane collections. They are always so versatile and you can mix them so well together. I am so happy that I got such a smooth double page with six different Felicity Jane collections.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.
xx Ulli
