board care

I’ve designed our boards to last for years to come. To care for your board:

Clean

After each use, wash the board with mild soap and warm water. (Spot clean) Avoid dunking the board in standing water or soaking the board, which can cause warping and cracking.

Dry

Towel dry the board immediately after washing. Then, stand it up on one end or place it in a drying rack to allow for airflow on both sides.

Avoid harsh cleaners & do not put in dishwasher

Oil

Apply food-grade mineral oil regularly to maintain the board's condition and prevent bacteria and food particles from absorbing into it. You can also use a mixture of beeswax and mineral oil to season the board.

Store

Store the board in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Lay it flat or store it upright on its edge to prevent warping or bending.
