Hybrid Layout Using the Brooke Digital Kit | Victoria Calvin

Hello friends! It's Victoria and I am back with a fun hybrid layout using the Brooke Digital Kit and the Brooke scrapbooking kit.

For full transparency, I am not a digital scrapbooker. However, I like to occasionally dabble with digital elements. Because I don't have Photoshop, I use MS PowerPoint to create my digital spread. Simply open a blank PowerPoint presentation, delete the title and text box that appear by default, resize your page based on your layout size and printing capabilities (i.e. large format printer), open the Brooke digital elements you wish to use (be sure to purchase and download the digital elements), and add your desired elements to your page. Once you are done creating your layout, print the spread on the card stock of your choice.

For this layout, I created a simple digital design, starting with the title "true story", a digital heart, a label that reads "Rainbows follow the rain", and a digital tag that I placed at the top right side of the layout, flanked by two digital hearts. Once I completed my design, I printed my spread on solid white card stock.

After printing my layout, I added a few physical elements from the Brooke Kit to include die cut hearts, an ampersand, a label, and puffy shapes.

To add a bit of texture, I mounted the bottom of my photo with the Brooke Crepe Ruffle Trim and a piece of the Henley Pom Trim.

Felicity Jane Digital kits are incredibly affordable and can be used multiple times on any project. I strongly recommend trying Felicity Jane digital elements on your next layout!

Thanks for stopping by!
