Hello FJ friends!
It's Anna here with you today with a new TN spread featuring the gorgeous Gabby kit. I love 12x12 layouts, but since I started with TN spreads, I'm falling in love with this format. My girls are the focus of the 99% of my projects. But for this spread, I decide to dedicate it to myself. It's been a tough year, and these encouraging phrases inspired me to create this project just for me.
Floral papers are always my favorite in almost every FJ collection, and the Floral & Arches paper is not an exception. So, for the base of my left page, I used this gorgeous floral patterned paper. Then, I created a vellum envelope with my trimmer and double-sided tape.
From the journaling cards pack, I took one with the phrase "I am enough", and turned it into a tag with the Shay Tag builder Metal Die Set. It's the perfect size for your TN spreads, layouts, or cards. I'm so in love with it. I wrote some personal journaling behind the card, tied some white twine, and put it inside the envelope.
To embellish this vellum envelope, I used two die cuts from the Die Cut Shapes. I raised the flowers with foam dots to add more dimension. The paper is pretty busy, so I didn't add anything else.
For the second page, I cut it from Essentials White Cardstock and did machine stitching all around it. I used another journaling card to frame my picture. The dark green one matched so well with the floral paper on the left and with the thread. I also added these photo corners from the Chipboard Bits. In the upper right corner, I placed a little cluster with a flower and a banner, where I put a Miniwide Paper Clip.
To create the title, I stacked the die cut that says "I'm worth it" on top of a label with 3D foam squares (after I did machine stitching). Next to it, two little hearts also from the die cut shapes. And finally, below it, I stamped one of the phrases from the stamp set. I adhered the pages into my TN insert.
