Hi everyone
Danielle here, sharing some spooky DIY decorations for Halloween. I decided to combine beautiful elements from both the Shay and Rebekah kits to create some fun bunting and a little banner.
I had this idea to make some bat bunting but I wanted the bodies of the bats to be made out of pom poms, as you do. I used a cheap little pom pom maker and some black chunky yarn to create my pom poms.
I stuck some Megan puffy heart stickers and zeros from the Lola puffy alpha stickers to work as eyes for my bats. Then I chose two monochrome Shay papers (stripes and stars) and cut them into wings, then backed them to my pom poms using a glue gun. Once my bats were made, I used some black and white bakers twine from my stash to connect the bats into bunting.
To make the “Boo” banner, I chose a sheet of Shay stripe paper, backed it on a sheet of Rebekah pink paper and then looped some more bakers twine around the back to create a hanger for the banner.
I added two leafy die cuts from the Rebekah die cut shapes, then backed my BOO Shay chipboard alphas on a piece of the bold stripe pink Rebekah paper.
These little decorations were easy to put together and I’m looking forward to having them up near my front door for Halloween.
I hope you like my DIY decs and thanks so much for reading. I’ll be back soon with another post.

I’d better not show Kitty these little bats or she’ll be raiding my stash to make them! Adorable x
