Hey there, it’s Kathleen back with you and today I have another set of cards to share, this time with the beautiful Amber kit. The moment I saw the Amber stamp set, I knew that I wanted to use it to make some cards with it!
(In case you missed it, I also made a set of encouragement cards with the Hannah kit.)
The overall theme of the kit is thankfulness, so I thought it would be appropriate to make cards that could be given to someone to just say thank you.
For the one in the middle I used a gray card base to which I added a die cut envelope (I used a die from my stash, but you could easily make it by hand) that could hold a note, a gift card or money, some stamped leaves and the "Love" label, also from the stamp set.
For the other two cards I used a white side-folding card base and, again, the stamp set. I used the same technique on both cards: stamping the outline leave image with black ink and then filling the leaves with different autumnal colors with the solid leave stamp.
On the card below I only stamped a border with the leaves to highlight the word labels in the middle. The “friend“ and “you“ label are from the die cut shapes, and the “grateful“ one was stamped, again.
For the card on the right I used a few different tones of yellow and oranges to create a background and make the “thankful“ die cut stand out.
I absolutely LOVE this stamp set and how versatile it is! The leaves are super easy to stamp, there are two more leave stamps in the set and you can easily fussy cut them to add some dimension to your projects*! I was also thinking about creating a garland with those leaves. You could use it as room decoration or for gift wrapping, etc. So many possibilities!
*By the way, you can also find a digital cutfile in the Felicity Jane store that matches those leaves.
