Happy Monday Everyone! Hope your weekend was a good one. Today for our "Inspired by..." post, I am sharing a 12x12 layout that was so much fun to piece together. I have had this image pinned on my "Memory Keeping" board on Pinterest for quite some time now and it was the perfect time to take inspiration from it . I love how the photo is cut up and pieced together like a puzzle and I knew I wanted to do that not only with photos but patterned paper mixed in. My title "Boy Robots" is based on something my oldest son Brandon was playing the other night and that is what I wrote my journaling about. I absolutely adore the chipboard letters and the gold on them; however, when I went to spell out my title I only had 2 "O's" and I needed 3, so I used the "Q" and cut off the little tail making it into an "O". Just something to think about doing if you need to stretch your alphabets! (Watch me need a "Q" next week!)
I love the stamp set this month (as usual), but especially like how the word "story" nested into the little banner. I used some of the word stickers and more stamping to add a mixture of text to the layout. For a final touch, I included the packaging from the Amy Tangerine roller stamp (an add on this month) because it was a perfect color match from my photos and I love the texture it gives the page.
Hope y'all are inspired to use lots of patterns and text to make a page, and as always, I love seeing how everyone is using their kits...which will be shipping soon!!!
