Hey friends! Can you believe we're already at the end of March? This year is flying by!
Since I unintentionally started an unofficial mini series on using the leftover bits of your kit and making the most of your kit contents, I thought I would continue that today with another one of my favorite tips - making your own journal cards!
I use journal cards for all different things, rather than just for pocket pages, so I love having fun cards on hand! They're also the perfect way to use your leftover kit elements, while you're waiting for your next kit to arrive.
This card above was created using two pieces of patterned paper and the piece that was left on the washi strip package after I used the main piece of floral washi. I love the way it turned out!
A few of my favorite ways to customize these cards are with the kit stamp set and embellishments, color blocking with patterned paper pieces, using my corner rounder punch, and embossing my stamps or other elements of the patterned paper!
I'm also a big fan of dimension on my cards, so the cut apart sheet paired with foam tape is a match made in crafty heaven.
