Tags Mini Album | Jana Bennett

Hi everyone!

I hope you are having an amazing week and you can get some crafty time with your new Capri kit. Isn't Capri just amazing? As soon as I spotted the tags I knew I would have to use them. I created a mini album full of tags and pockets and with tons of photos. Because many photos - that is my kind of favourite album!



I was not able to put together a tutorial but I did manage to film a flip through. In the video you get a rough idea of the construction. I used different pattern paper (plus white cardstock) and cut them in strips as drawn in the following photo.



It doesn't really matter how big you make the pockets. I tried to make them different sizes to create diversity. Here you can see one of the parts.

When joining the individual parts together I always made sure I used the glue only on three sides leaving the top side open. I used my circle punch to create notches for easier access (I strongly recommend to cut the notch just in one paper and not on both sides. If you do it on both sides the tag is a bit of struggle to be placed back in the pocket.)

As for the pockets, I mainly used the tags from the kit. I used them all! They have a perfect size! For the bigger pockets I created tags that are longer and fill in the pocket nicely. After I assembled all the parts together I created the cover.



Every pocket is different and I love the FJ signature scalloped edge so I used it in my mini as well.



I used a circle die to create this double spread with a photo in the window and a slightly different pocket for the tag.



Once again I wanted to do the "wallet card holder" so I created the tags using my Shay metal die (it is the best die ever!). Every tag has a photo!
